Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Store & Purchase to lead and manage multiple stores and centralized procurement operations. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end purchase activities, inventory control, vendor management, and centralized coordination across projects/sites.
Roles & Responsibilities Store Management
- Manage and supervise multiple stores across different locations/projects.
- Ensure proper inventory control, stock verification, and reconciliation.
- Monitor material receipt, issue, storage, and dispatch as per company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/software and physical registers.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations.
Purchase & Procurement
- Handle end-to-end purchase activities including PR, RFQ, negotiation, PO issuance, and follow-up.
- Develop and manage approved vendor/supplier base.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and quality.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project and HO requirements.
- Coordinate with accounts for billing, GRN, and payment processing.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of multi-location store handling
- Expertise in purchase, procurement, and vendor management
- Experience in centralized store & purchase operations
- Good command of ERP/software (SAP / Tally / other systems preferred)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage teams and work under deadlines
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Supply Chain / Materials Management
- MBA or Diploma in Purchase/Materials Management preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
