Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of lead Consultant Cloud Network Engineer The Cloud Network Engineer will lead the design automation and security of AWS and Azure network infrastructure ensuring high availability scalability and security & enterprise systems. This role is responsible for driving technical direction supporting fellow engineers and delivering measurable improvements in network performance and security. Responsibilities: - AWS Cloud Networking - Architect and scale secure AWS networking such as VP Cs Transit Gateways Direct Connect VPN Load Balancing Cloud WAN Route 53 ACM PCA. - Automate network deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CDK or similar). - Guide and enforce network segmentation DNS and traffic routing best practices. - Participate in incident responses and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues. - Manage DNS and IP addressing schemes using Amazon Route 53; - integrate with on-premises networks. - Recommend develop and implement network security policies using AWS Security Groups Network AC Ls and AWS WAF. - Azure Cloud Networking - Design and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for robust scalable and secure platforms. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible or similar) for automated deployments. - Automate administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency with Power Shell Git Hub and Python. - Recommend develop and implement security measures for compliance with industry regulations. - Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and troubleshooting. - Collaborate with IT security Dev Ops and project managers to align strategies. - General Duties - Collaborate with fellow engineers and architects to influence cloud networking standards across teams. - Drive initiatives around network observability security and performance using Cloud Watch Datadog and Azure monitor. - Stay current with cloud networking best practices and industry trends. - Measurable Achievements - Reduced network deployment times and configuration errors through automation. - Maintain network uptime of 99.99% via robust failover and monitoring. - Achieved zero critical vulnerabilities in annual security audits.
