Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Operations Head to lead and oversee end-to-end business operations across manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, quality, logistics, and process excellence. The ideal candidate should have 10–18 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry with a strong background in driving operational efficiency, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize business processes, improve productivity, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end operations including Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality functions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Drive process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, and other applicable regulatory and quality standards.
- Optimize inventory management, production planning, and resource utilization.
- Lead capacity planning, demand forecasting, and operational budgeting.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support business expansion and operational excellence.
- Prepare and present operational reports, performance dashboards, and business reviews to management.
Required Experience
- 10–18 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Plant Operations.
- Mandatory experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Medical Instruments industry.
- Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, inventory control, and quality systems.
- Experience in driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance including GMP, ISO, FDA, or equivalent quality standards.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
- MBA or PGDM in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
