About the Role:
- The Assistant Manager (Projects) will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end initiatives,
ensuring milestones are met through stakeholder engagement and precise scope, schedule,
and resource management. Act as a strategic link between corporate strategy and field
implementation, driving integrated projects, mitigating risks, and providing transparent
reporting to support leadership decisions.
- The incumbent will report to the General Manager - General Management. The incumbent
will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with
the internal team and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope,
schedule, and budget.
- Define project objectives, scope, implementation plans, timelines, and resource
requirements.
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress against established milestones.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
Strategic Alignment
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable project plans.
- Ensure all project activities align with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives to improve organizational performance.
Strategic Initiative Management
- Drive assigned strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
- Monitor progress and ensure initiatives deliver the intended business outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project deliverables.
Project Governance
- Ensure compliance with the organization's project governance framework.
- Maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans, status reports,
and other governance artifacts.
- Follow standardized project management methodologies and reporting practices.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, issues, and changes.
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, dependencies, and key decisions.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project performance against defined KPIs, milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Prepare and present weekly or bi-weekly project status reports.
- Highlight project achievements, challenges, risks, and upcoming milestones to leadership.
Risk & Escalation Management
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
- Escalate critical issues requiring leadership intervention in a timely manner.
- Drive resolution of issues to minimize project impact.
Accountability & Ownership
- Take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives from planning through execution.
- Ensure accountability across project teams for timely completion of deliverables.
- Drive project execution while maintaining quality and business expectations.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations,
or a related discipline. (Preferably from Tier 2 MBA Institutes)
- 0–1 year of experience in project coordination or management, ideally in a fast-paced
environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and
governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management
tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello).
- Proficiency in G-Suit (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is an added advantage.
