Job Title: ITI Fitter (Fabrication)
Department: Fabrication / Production
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work instructions.
- Measure, mark, cut, grind, and fit metal components as per drawings.
- Assemble fabricated parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform tack fitting and assist welders during fabrication.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and squares.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as drilling machines, grinders, and cutting machines safely.
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
- Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow company safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- ITI in Fitter Trade.
- 0–3 years of experience in fabrication or sheet metal work
- Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings and measuring instruments
Skills Required:
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good fitting and assembly skills.
- Knowledge of measuring tools.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and welding.
- Teamwork and attention to detail.
- Strong safety awareness.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
