Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate SolidWorks Design Engineer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in product design, modeling, and drafting. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks and capable of converting concepts into detailed 2D and 3D models with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design mechanical components, assemblies, and products using SolidWorks.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models with complete details, tolerances, and BOMs.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Modify and improve existing designs for cost reduction, performance enhancement, and manufacturability.
- Perform basic design calculations and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and maintain design records systematically.
- Assist in prototype development and testing stages as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SolidWorks (part modeling, assembly, drafting).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
