About the Role
We are seeking a result-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive sales of our IoT-based fleet management solutions within the logistics industry. The role requires strong understanding of IoT hardware, telematics solutions, and SaaS-based fleet tracking platforms.
You will be responsible for selling bundled solutions including GPS trackers, RFID/UHF readers, door sensors, CAN devices, telematics accessories, and customized fleet management software tailored to logistics workflows.
Your primary focus will be generating new business, closing high-volume deals, and ensuring long-term customer retention through consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities1️ Sales & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and acquire medium to large logistics operators, fleet owners, transporters, 3PL companies, and express cargo players.
- Sell IoT hardware solutions bundled with fleet tracking SaaS platforms.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and pilot deployments.
- Manage complete B2B sales cycle: Prospecting → Demo → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure → Account Management.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (hardware + subscription revenue).
2️ Solution & Consultative Selling
- Understand customer fleet operations, compliance requirements, and integration needs.
- Position company as an end-to-end fleet management partner rather than just a device vendor.
- Coordinate with technical teams to deliver customized dashboards, APIs, and ERP/TMS integrations.
- Support onboarding and ensure seamless deployment.
3️ Account Management & Growth
- Maintain strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling of additional fleet services.
- Conduct review meetings to ensure retention and subscription growth.
- Focus on long-term contracts and recurring revenue.
Key Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in IoT Sales / Telematics / Fleet Management / Logistics Technology.
- Strong understanding of GPS tracking systems, RFID/UHF technology, and telematics hardware.
- Experience in selling SaaS or subscription-based platforms.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage full B2B sales cycle.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings.
