Job Summary:
The Assembly Production Supervisor is responsible for assembling fabricated metal components into finished or semi-finished products such as kiosks, carts, kitchen equipment, or capsules. The role requires working closely with fabrication, welding, electrical, and quality teams to ensure timely and quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products using tools, blueprints, and fabrication drawings.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Fit and align components precisely using hand tools, fasteners, and fixtures.
- Ensure product conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with welding and electrical teams during sub-assembly stages.
- Perform basic tasks such as grinding, drilling, and finishing of components.
- Maintain assembly area tools and equipment in working condition.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets as per schedule.
- Report material shortages, defects, and process issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4–5 years’ experience in fabrication/assembly, preferably in sheet metal or equipment manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and basic mechanical assembly.
- Basic knowledge of welding and electrical wiring is a plus.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with stainless steel and mild steel assemblies.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
- Familiarity with fabrication shop floor safety and PPE compliance.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
