Manager HR | Performance Management & HR Operations
Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai
Work Mode: Hybrid / Work from Home with periodic office visits
CTC: 6 – 10 LPA
Experience: 6–12 years
Industry Preference: Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Manager – HR who can take ownership of Performance Management, KPI/KRA frameworks, organisational structure and HR operations, preferably with solid experience in the manufacturing industry.
This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who understands how to translate business objectives into clear roles, measurable KRAs/KPIs, performance systems and effective HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and continuously improve Performance Management Systems
- Develop and align KRAs, KPIs and performance metrics across functions and levels
- Work with management and functional heads on goal setting, performance reviews and performance improvement
- Support organisation structure, job roles, reporting relationships and manpower planning
- Review and strengthen existing HR policies, processes and systems
- Handle core HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes, documentation, attendance, leave, disciplinary processes and HR MIS
- Work closely with business and functional heads to improve employee productivity and accountability
- Analyse HR data and prepare meaningful HR dashboards and management reports
- Support organisational development, employee engagement and capability-building initiatives
- Identify gaps in HR processes and drive process improvement and standardisation
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
Strong practical experience in Performance Management / PMS
Good understanding of KRA, KPI, goal-setting and performance appraisal systems
Experience in organisation design / organisation structure and role definition
Strong hands-on knowledge of HR operations
Prior experience in a manufacturing organisation is highly preferred
Ability to work directly with senior management and functional heads
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
A practical, business-oriented approach rather than purely administrative HR experience
What We Are Looking For
This role would be particularly suitable for an HR professional who has worked closely with business leaders, plant/operations teams and functional heads and understands how HR can contribute directly to productivity, accountability and business performance.
Compensation: 6 – 10 LPA, depending on experience and capability.
Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Work from Home with periodic in-person meetings.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Thiruvallur District)
