Job Title: Assistant Navcom Service Engineer – Fresher (Navigation & Communication Equipment)

Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined freshers who are eager to build a career in marine navigation and communication systems. The role involves assisting in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of shipborne equipment while learning industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers in installation and servicing of marine navigation & communication equipment onboard vessels
- Support troubleshooting and basic repair activities for onboard systems
- Learn and ensure compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO), SOLAS, and Class regulations
- Prepare basic service reports and maintain proper documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams and supervisors for smooth execution of tasks
- Gain hands-on exposure to marine electronics and onboard service operations
Systems Exposure (Training Will Be Provided):
- GMDSS Equipment (VHF, MF/HF, Inmarsat, EPIRB)
- Navigation Systems (Radar, Gyrocompass, AIS, Autopilot, Speed Log, Magnetic Compass)
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Marine Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Basic knowledge of electronics and communication systems
- Willingness to travel and work onboard ships
- Good learning attitude and problem-solving skills
