Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SFTP L2 Engineer with strong expertise in GlobalscapeMFT platforms. The candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, andtroubleshooting secure file transfer environments while ensuring compliance with securitypolicies and business SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2 support for Globalscape SFTP/MFT platforms, handling incidents,requests, and problem tickets. Monitor SFTP services to ensure availability, performance, and SLA compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfers, connectivity, and user access. Perform user provisioning, key management, and access control administration. Coordinate with L3/engineering teams for escalations, root cause analysis, and major incidents. Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance requirements (encryption,authentication, audit logs). Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs. Support patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in SFTP/MFT environments. Assist in onboarding new partners/clients and configuring file transfer workflows. Participate in change management processes to ensure secure and controlled implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–6 years of experience in Network Security / Secure File Transfer solutions. Hands-on experience with Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) Strong knowledge of SFTP, FTPS, SCP, HTTPS file transfer protocols. Experience in key-based authentication (SSH keys, PGP encryption). Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and network security fundamentals. Strong troubleshooting skills for connectivity, authentication, and transfer failures. Understanding of incident, change, and problem management (ITIL framework). Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Knowledge of file transfer integrations with enterprise applications (ERP, banking,trading, etc.). Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOX). Exposure to other MFT platforms (Axway, TIBCO, IBM Sterling, etc.) is a plus.
Pay: From ₹1,000,000.00 per year
