Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires taking ownership of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the desired objectives. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and continuous improvement of application functionalities, while serving as the main liaison for project-related communications and technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
- Continuously evaluate existing applications and recommend improvements to optimize performance and user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Genesys Cloud CX.
- Experience with cloud-based contact center solutions and their integration with enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application design and deployment.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to enhance application functionality and efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Genesys Cloud CX.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
