About Position:
The Storage Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise storage environments, ensuring data availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness. The role focuses on handling large-scale storage infrastructures across enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:

Act as the ultimate point of contact for complex storage-related issues, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution.

Design and implement scalable and high-performance storage solutions for enterprise environments.

Establish and maintain storage management best practices ensuring data protection and compliance.

Perform capacity planning by analyzing utilization trends and forecasting storage requirements.

Implement disaster recovery strategies including data replication and failover mechanisms.

Monitor storage health, performance, and availability, ensuring minimal downtime.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and virtualization teams for seamless storage integration.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong experience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp, Pure Storage, IBM Storage.

Hands-on expertise in backup and recovery tools like TSM and Tape libraries.

Knowledge of disaster recovery technologies, data replication, and business continuity planning.

Experience in managing both hardware and software aspects of storage systems.

Familiarity with storage security principles, access controls, and data protection mechanisms.

Understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and related data regulations.

Experience with troubleshooting storage issues including data corruption, failures, and performance bottlenecks.

Exposure to virtualization environments and integration with enterprise infrastructure.

Good understanding of AIX OS platform (preferred).

Ability to document storage policies, standards, and procedures.

Stay updated with emerging storage technologies and industry trends.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Approximately 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage environments

Relevant certifications such as NetApp Certified, Pure Storage FlashArray, VMCE, or IBM Storage preferred
