Summary:
The role of a Content Editor is to help produce great production work that delights our clients and proves effective for their audiences.
In a nutshell you:

Participate in post-production and editing to realise creative vision.

Support the development and creation of video and photography content and assists on shoots when required.

Responsibilities:
Participate in post-production and editing to realise creative vision:
-
Attend post-production meetings alongside the lead creative and lead production member, interpret briefs creatively and respond proactively to feedback.

Manage the entire post-production process on designated projects from receiving files, creating selects, editing audio, working alongside senior content creator/lead creative to create assets, to amends and delivery.

Work closely with the senior content creator and lead creative throughout the post-production process to ensure creative vision and client requirements are met.

Research imagery, music and stock video to support creative treatments and edits.

Work independently on designated projects and manage your own time effectively.

Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues across the agency and external stakeholders.

Flag any post-production related enquiries or issues with senior content creator/production manager.

Undertake any other duties and projects at the request of the production manager.

Ensure your timesheets are completed accurately and on time in Harvest.
Support the development and creation of video and photography content and assist on shoots when required:

Support the team to help plan and develop content deliverables, specific to client needs including all technical aspects.

Collaborate closely with client services, lead creative and lead production members to help facilitate post-production content.
- General running and assistant tasks as needed on shoot.
Help coordinate, log and file assets and footage:

Assist content creator/senior content creator with footage back-up on designated projects after shoot.

Support with ingesting, transferring and quality checking files and footage onto our internal network and server.

Ensure project files, RAW footage and assets of completed projects are backed up on internal servers.
- Work with the production manager to improve post-production efficiencies and make suggestions for improvements.

Strong working knowledge of editing software including BlackMagic camera systems and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong knowledge and experience of managing post-production editing workflows and archives.

Familiar with the full video production cycle, including camera operation, audio and lighting.

Interest in current and emerging video production editing styles and technologies.
