Junior Robotics Engineer
This is a dual-focus role — AutoCAD technical drawing for current projects, and product design and development for future STREAMEDU hardware. You will work directly with the founder and the robotics team to design components that students across India will assemble and learn from. 01 Current Work — AutoCAD Drafting & Technical Drawing Immediate priority · Day 1 work ▸ Create precise 2D technical drawings for robotics kit components — chassis, brackets, sensor mounts, wiring enclosures, and assembly frames ▸ Draft detailed engineering drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, GD&T annotations, and material callouts ▸ Convert hand-drawn sketches and rough designs from the engineering team into clean, production-ready AutoCAD drawings ▸ Prepare assembly drawings showing how multiple components fit together — exploded views, section views, and detail views ▸ Create drawings suitable for CNC machining, laser cutting, 3D printing, and sheet metal fabrication ▸ Maintain organized drawing file library with proper revision control and naming conventions ▸ Coordinate with external vendors and fabricators by providing accurate drawings and answering technical queries ▸ Create bill of materials (BOM) for each product assembly listing all parts, quantities, and materials 02 Future Work — Product Design & Development Growing responsibility · Robotics R&D ▸ Design new robotics kit components from scratch — concept sketching to final CAD model to manufactured prototype ▸ Create 3D models of robot parts, drone frames, and educational kit enclosures using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar ▸ Work with the robotics engineering team to design parts that are easy for school students to assemble with minimal tools ▸ Design for manufacturability — ensure all components can be made cost-effectively using Indian vendors ▸ Prototype and iterate designs based on physical testing and student feedback from schools ▸ Design custom PCB enclosures, sensor housings, and cable management systems for robotics kits ▸ Contribute to the development of STREAMEDU's own branded drone frames and educational robot chassis ▸ Support patent documentation with detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
