Job Title: Pre-Primary Teacher
Location: EuroSchool Whitefield, Bangalore
Reporting To: Pre-Primary Coordinator / Principal
Job Purpose
To create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children in the Pre-Primary section (Nursery, Junior KG, Senior KG), fostering holistic growth in cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains.
Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Planning & Implementation
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Implement experiential and play-based learning strategies.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and teaching aids.
- Integrate phonics, early numeracy, storytelling, and activity-based learning.
2. Classroom Management
- Create a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain discipline using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Ensure classroom displays are engaging and reflect current learning themes.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
3. Child Development & Assessment
- Observe and track developmental milestones of students.
- Maintain student portfolios and anecdotal records.
- Conduct periodic assessments and share progress reports with parents.
- Identify children requiring additional support and collaborate with coordinators.
4. Parent Communication
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Maintain regular communication regarding student progress.
- Provide guidance to parents on child development and learning strategies at home.
5. School Engagement
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and activities.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and innovation.
- Attend training sessions and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and team members.

- Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education principles.

- Strong classroom management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, digital platforms).
Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Post Graduate with NTT / Montessori / ECCEd qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Pre-Primary teaching (preferred).
