About the Role
We're looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team and support the assembly, installation, and servicing of our electric refrigeration units. You'll work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure products are assembled accurately, safely, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and HVAC components such as compressors, fans, piping, structural parts, and other sub-assemblies.
- Install refrigeration systems on commercial vehicles, ensuring proper alignment, fastening, and fitment.
- Ensure sheet metal bending is carried out as per engineering drawings and support assembly activities.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
- Inspect completed assemblies and identify mechanical defects or fitment issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components during servicing.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Maintain basic records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mechanical fitting or assembly.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding and brazing is an added advantage.
- Exposure to preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of refrigeration systems is an added advantage.
- Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, automotive, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Good workmanship, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
