About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Functional Consultant – WMS to join our growing Oracle SCM practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle Warehouse Management implementations and a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes. You will play a key role in delivering Oracle WMS solutions, driving business process improvements, and supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end Oracle WMS implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle WMS solutions.
- Configure and support Oracle WMS functionalities including:
- Receiving & Putaway
- Inventory Control
- Wave Planning
- Picking, Packing & Shipping
- Cycle Counting
- Label Printing
- RF Scanning & Mobile Transactions
- Work closely with business users, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis, CRP sessions, UAT testing, training, and Go-Live support.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), BRDs, Test Scripts, and Training Materials.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, and custom developments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective functional resolutions.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives across warehouse and supply chain operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–10 years of experience in Oracle WMS implementation and support projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Oracle Inventory (INV)
- Oracle Purchasing (PO)
- Oracle Shipping Execution
- Deep understanding of:
- Warehouse Operations
- Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- Inventory Management
- RF/Mobile Scanning Processes
- Order Fulfillment & Shipping Processes
- Experience in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud SCM environments.
- Understanding of Oracle WMS database structures and key transactional flows.
- Ability to work with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain domains.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud SCM modules.
- Oracle Certification in SCM/WMS is preferred.
- Experience working in global implementation and support environments.
