Vetri Industrials is a growing plastic component manufacturing company specializing in injection molding. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to monitor, test, and ensure the standard of our manufactured plastic components.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection molding processes and a proven track record of reducing defects, maintaining high-quality production standards, and handling quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections of plastic injection molded components.
- Identify common molding defects (e.g., flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage) and work with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions against technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection reports, and daily production logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on the production floor.
- Train and guide machine operators on basic quality checks and defect identification.
- Monitor raw material quality before the molding process begins.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, specifically within the plastic injection molding industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of injection molding parameters, quality control tools, and measuring instruments.
- Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on the production floor.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO Documentation: Knowledge of and experience with ISO documentation, quality management systems (QMS), and audit preparations (e.g., ISO 9001).
Pay: ₹10,911.98 - ₹20,000.00 per month
