- Experienced Driver with License for Heavy Vehicles and experienced in driving school bus.
- Transportation: Driving students to and from school, special events, and private groups
- Safety: Ensuring the safety of all passengers, including adhering to traffic laws, obeying safety guidelines, and responding to emergencies
- Maintenance: Performing daily inspections of the vehicle, completing maintenance records, and reporting any issues
- Cleanliness: Keeping the vehicles clean and in good mechanical condition
- Communication: Communicating with schools and transportation services, and discussing stop times
- Assistance: Helping students get on and off the vehicle, and helping load and unload luggage
- Discipline: Disciplining children as needed to maintain a safe environment
- First aid: Providing first aid in the event of an emergency on board the vehicles
- Schedule: Adhering to an assigned schedule and arriving at pick-up and drop-off points on time
- Incident reports: Completing incident reports
- Parent communication: Discussing safety with parents, explaining school board policy, and being receptive to their suggestions
