Purpose
The Manager - Clinical Research Coordination, Regulatory Affairs & Brand Promotion will be responsible for managing clinical research coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting brand development initiatives for Ayurvedic and herbal products. The role involves collaborating with hospitals, medical institutions, and regulatory authorities, while also contributing to brand strategy, product promotion, and market development. The position requires strong expertise in the AYUSH regulatory framework, clinical research coordination, and brand promotion within the Ayurvedic or herbal products industry.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate clinical research activities with hospitals, medical colleges, clinicians, and medical research laboratories.
Facilitate clinical trials, observational studies, and research collaborations for Ayurvedic and herbal formulations.
Maintain technical documentation and research records related to clinical studies.
Assist in preparing research reports and supporting evidence-based product validation.
2. Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
Represent the organization before central and state AYUSH authorities and other regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations applicable to the AYUSH industry.
Advise and support production, marketing, and sales teams on regulatory requirements.
Monitor adherence to laws and regulations including Drugs & Cosmetics Act, State Excise Act, Legal Metrology Act, Drugs & Magic Remedies Act, Consumer Protection Act, Food Safety and Standards Act, Biodiversity Act, and other relevant statutes.
3. Brand Promotion & Product Development
Design and implement promotional and communication strategies for Ayurvedic brands and classical products.
Support development and promotional planning for new products and strengthening of existing brands.
Develop and execute brand strategies and tactical marketing plans.
Monitor brand performance and conduct periodic brand promotion reviews.
4. Medical & Educational Programs
Organize and conduct CMEs, workshops, medical camps, and conferences.
Participate in industry trade shows, training programs, and professional conferences.
Develop technical and promotional materials for product awareness and training purposes.
5. Sales & Marketing Support
Conceptualize and implement sales promotional activities to support brand building and market development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, production, and customer support.
Provide product training and technical guidance to the sales team.
Ensure sales teams are updated on product changes and new product launches.
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Review product and brand performance and recommend necessary improvements.
Track promotional effectiveness and market response to campaigns.
Support management with analytical insights and performance reports.
Candidate Profile
6-9 years of proven experience in clinical research coordination, regulatory affairs, and brand promotion within Ayurvedic medicines or herbal products manufacturing companies.
Strong knowledge of AYUSH regulatory frameworks and industry practices.
Experience coordinating with hospitals, clinicians, and regulatory authorities.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Must-Have Education & Skills
Graduate or Postgraduate in Ayurveda (BAMS / MD Ayurveda) or PhD in Pharmacognosy / Medicinal Plants.
Strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements in the AYUSH sector.
Experience in statutory compliance related to relevant laws and regulations governing the Ayurvedic and herbal products industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in computer applications and documentation processes
