- Support commissioning, start-up, and handover of BMS and control systems, ensuring operation aligns with design intent
- Execute functional performance tests: point-to-point checks, sensor calibration, sequence-of-operations verification
- Troubleshoot hardware (controllers, actuators, sensors) and software (PLC/DDC logic), working with contractors and integrators
- Coordinate Factory & Site Acceptance Tests
- Document all commissioning activities: test scripts, checklists, reports, punch‑lists, handover packages
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, Uptime Institute, BACnet/Modbus protocols)
- Collaborate across teams—engineering, MEP contractors, project managers—and maintain clear communication with clients
