We are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and experienced academic leader to join our institution as Principal. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, promote academic excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of innovation, research, and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic, administrative, and financial leadership.
- Ensure compliance with UGC, affiliating university, and other statutory/regulatory norms.
- Lead institutional quality initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Promote excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and student development.
- Strengthen industry-academia collaboration and community engagement.
- Oversee faculty recruitment, development, and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for institutional growth.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
- Teaching/Research Experience
- Must be a Professor or Associate Professor.
- At least 15 years of teaching/research experience in universities, colleges, or other higher education institutions.
- Research Requirements
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Minimum Research Score of 110 (as per the applicable UGC regulations and Appendix II).
- Demonstrated academic leadership, administrative experience, and a strong record of research publications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in NAAC accreditation and quality assurance.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Expertise in institutional planning, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to build collaborations with industry and academic institutions.
