Business Development Executive
Location: Delhi
Experience: 2 – 5 Years
Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Working Days :- Monday to Saturday 6 days working ( Sunday week off)
Territory Responsibility:
- Responsible for handling North Region sales activities through extensive field sales, customer visits, market development, and business expansion initiatives.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and market expansion of transformer and electrical products across targeted sectors in India. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, generating leads, and achieving sales targets through effective B2B sales strategies.
The candidate will be responsible for handling clients including electrical utilities, EPC contractors, industrial customers, infrastructure companies, government/PSU segments, and other institutional buyers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Activities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Identify new markets, customers, and business opportunities in transformer and electrical product segments.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends.
Lead Generation & Customer Handling
- Generate leads through market visits, customer meetings, networking, and references.
- Manage customer enquiries, product presentations, and technical discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision makers.
Sales Execution & Order Closure
- Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to order finalization.
- Prepare commercial proposals and coordinate with internal teams for successful execution.
- Follow up with customers for order conversion and payment collection.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication and visits with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Maintain sales pipeline, customer database, and regular MIS reports.
- Track market developments, competitor activities, and pricing trends.
- Provide sales updates and business insights to management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of electrical products / transformers / power systems.
- Experience in B2B sales and business development.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
- Customer-focused approach with good relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
