Role Description
The Digital & Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering the operational execution of 9ine's global marketing activity across the Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE). Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will support the successful delivery of marketing campaigns whilst contributing to the continual improvement of marketing operations, systems and processes to optimise campaign delivery, marketing technology and operational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in digital marketing operations within a B2B technology, SaaS or similar environment, together with strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. You will be proactive, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities whilst maintaining high standards of quality, governance and continuous improvement, using AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Working within the Marketing Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support marketing activity across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement and Customer Marketing.
- Building and delivering integrated marketing campaigns across email, landing pages, social channels, webinars and marketing automation platforms using approved campaign briefs and finished creative assets.
- Working closely with Sales, PMO, Design, Consultancy teams and external agencies to support campaign delivery.
- Publishing, quality assuring and deploying digital marketing assets across the appropriate channels, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately and in line with business standards.
- Proactively identifying missing assets, implementation risks and campaign issues, working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to resolve them prior to launch.
- Leading marketing operations and martech initiatives that improve campaign delivery, CRM capability and operational efficiency.
- Managing the end-to-end operational delivery of webinars, including platform configuration, registration journeys, testing and post-event data management.
- Reviewing marketing platforms, technologies and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and supporting the implementation of new solutions where appropriate.
- Developing and maintaining automated workflows that improve collaboration between Marketing and Sales, including lead routing, notifications and campaign automation.
- Maintaining the integrity, accuracy and governance of HubSpot CRM data, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues that may impact campaign delivery, reporting or lead management.
- Building and maintaining landing pages, forms and lead capture journeys using approved campaign assets and stakeholder requirements.
- Developing, maintaining and optimising automated nurture workflows and email campaigns to support lead engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Owning and maintaining the organisation's digital marketing templates, ensuring consistency across email, landing pages, webinars and nurture campaigns.
- Leveraging AI technologies, including Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT, to improve campaign delivery, operational efficiency and day-to-day marketing activities.
- Acting as the human-in-the-loop by reviewing, validating and refining AI-generated outputs before publication or deployment.
- Developing and maintaining marketing dashboards, identifying trends and data anomalies, and providing operational insights to the Marketing Manager.
- Researching emerging marketing technologies, AI capabilities and digital marketing trends, recommending opportunities that enhance marketing capability and operational effectiveness.
- Supporting digital marketing and operational projects as reasonably required to meet business priorities.
Skills and Experience
- 2 to 4 years' experience in digital marketing, marketing operations or campaign delivery.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) and webinar platforms (e.g. Zoom).
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and webinars.
- Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the education, SaaS or technology sector, preferably within a start-up or scale-up environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical experience using AI technologies to support marketing activities.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills; experience using project or task management software (e.g. Trello).
- Excellent written communication, proofreading and content review skills.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
