Job Summary
The Senior Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles manufactured by Force Motors. The role involves advanced technical troubleshooting, guiding junior technicians, ensuring high service quality, and maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient vehicle servicing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair
- Perform advanced diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
- Repair and service engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Handle complex repair cases and ensure accurate problem resolution.
2. Service & Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled maintenance as per manufacturer standards.
- Ensure proper use of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Maintain high-quality repair standards following company guidelines.
3. Team Support & Supervision
- Guide and support junior technicians and apprentices in repair procedures.
- Assist the workshop supervisor in allocating technical tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and workshop discipline.
4. Customer Service Support
- Provide technical explanations to service advisors when required.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints related to technical issues.
- Ensure timely completion of vehicles to improve customer satisfaction.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Record diagnostic findings and repair details in job cards.
- Maintain proper documentation of parts used and repairs completed.
- Report recurring technical issues to the Service Manager.
6. Quality & Safety
- Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and vehicle components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in automobile service, preferably with commercial vehicles or multi-utility vehicles.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive service tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
