Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong New Product Development (NPD) Manager for our fastener manufacturing division. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of fastener products, tooling development, drawing preparation, and manufacturing processes for both standard and non-standard fastener items. The candidate must be capable of independently handling new product development activities and leading a technical team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new fastener products as per customer requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings for fastener items and tooling machine station-wise setups.
- Design and develop tooling layouts for standard and special fastener products.
- Possess strong knowledge of fastener standards, grades, tolerances, and specifications.
- Select suitable raw materials and die materials as per product and tooling requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and tooling departments for smooth product development.
- Analyze product feasibility, tooling life, and manufacturing process improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation related to drawings, tooling, and product specifications.
- Lead and manage the NPD team while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
- Interact with customers/vendors regarding technical discussions and development requirements.
- Work towards cost reduction, productivity improvement, and process enhancement.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
