Business Development and Market Expansion
- Identify opportunities for biogas and CBG projects across agricultural, municipal, industrial, dairy, distillery, food-processing, and other organic-waste segments.
- Develop relationships with feedstock suppliers, landowners, technology providers, EPC contractors, investors, lenders, government agencies, and potential customers.
- Track market trends, government policies, incentives, tenders, and regulatory developments affecting biogas and CBG projects.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercially viable projects.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, stakeholder meetings, and networking events.
Project Origination and Evaluation
- Identify suitable project locations and conduct preliminary assessments of land, feedstock availability, logistics, utilities, infrastructure, and product demand.
- Coordinate feedstock surveys and assess the quantity, quality, seasonality, pricing, and long-term availability of raw materials.
- Support techno-commercial feasibility studies, including capital expenditure, operating costs, revenue potential, project returns, and key risks.
- Develop suitable business models, including company-owned projects, joint ventures, build-own-operate arrangements, and public-private partnerships.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams during project evaluation.
Commercial Development
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, financial models, project notes, and management-approval documents.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with customers, partners, suppliers, investors, and government bodies.
- Secure feedstock-supply agreements, land arrangements, gas or CBG offtake agreements, digestate or organic-manure sales arrangements, and partnership agreements.
- Support tender submissions, requests for proposals, expressions of interest, and other competitive bidding processes.
- Coordinate due diligence, contract finalization, and documentation required for investment approval or financial closure.
Stakeholder and Regulatory Coordination
- Liaise with relevant central and state government departments, municipal bodies, oil and gas companies, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.
- Support the approval and registration processes required for biogas and CBG projects.
- Develop relationships with local communities, farmer groups, cooperatives, aggregators, and waste generators.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial and project-development issues.
Project Handover and Monitoring
- Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams.
- Track project-development milestones and address delays related to commercial agreements, permits, feedstock, land, or offtake.
- Maintain accurate customer, partner, opportunity, and project-pipeline information.
- Submit periodic business-development reports, forecasts, and management updates.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number and value of qualified opportunities added to the pipeline.
- Biogas or CBG production capacity secured.
- Number of projects reaching approval, contract signing, or financial closure.
- Feedstock quantity secured through long-term agreements.
- Revenue and profitability of acquired projects.
- Timeliness and quality of proposals and tender submissions.
- Conversion rate from identified opportunities to signed projects.
- Development of strategic partnerships and customer relationships.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
