Role Description The Telesales Team Lead (Insurance & Home Loan) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for supervising a telesales team, setting daily and weekly sales targets, and monitoring performance to ensure achievement of insurance and home loan revenue goals. The Team Lead will oversee call operations, coach team members, handle escalated customer queries, and ensure high-quality customer interactions. Daily tasks include reviewing lead pipelines, assigning leads, tracking conversion rates, preparing sales reports, and collaborating with management to refine sales scripts and processes. The role also involves maintaining compliance with internal policies, staying updated on product features, and fostering a positive, goal-oriented team environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects effectively and handle complex queries.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management and Team Leadership skills to coach, motivate, and develop telesales representatives.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including lead conversion, objection handling, and closing techniques in insurance and home loan products.
- Experience in telesales or inside sales, preferably in financial services, insurance, or lending.
- Ability to work with targets, analyze performance metrics, and prepare concise sales reports.
- Comfort using CRM systems, dialers, and basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, and call tracking software).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, resilience under pressure, and a collaborative work style.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in sales leadership will also be considered.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
