Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Designer / Sales Co-Ordinator with 1-2 years of experience in the modular interiors industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sense along with a passion for sales and client interaction. This role involves understanding customer requirements, creating design solutions, presenting concepts, coordinating with internal teams, and actively driving sales closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet prospective customers and understand their interior design requirements.
- Create modular kitchen, wardrobe, and home interior designs based on client needs and space constraints.
- Prepare design presentations, layouts, mood boards, and quotations.
- Conduct design consultations and explain product offerings, materials, and finishes.
- Convert design discussions into sales opportunities and achieve closure targets.
- Follow up with leads, inquiries, and customer proposals in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with project, production, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain customer relationship throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
- Keep track of sales pipelines, client interactions, and project status updates.
- Stay updated on market trends, design innovations, and competitor offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in modular interiors, modular kitchens, wardrobes, or home interior design.
- Experience in both design consultation and sales closure.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide practical design solutions.
- Target-oriented mindset with a customer-centric approach.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience with modular interior brands or interior design firms.
- Comfortable handling walk-in customers, site visits, and client presentations.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to convert leads into successful projects.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated individual.
