The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-impact financial and digital payment products.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Competencies
6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in FinTech, Banking, or Payments.
Strong understanding of payment systems, transaction lifecycles, and settlement processes.
Experience with requirements gathering, UML modeling, use case diagrams, and workflow documentation.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and data integration concepts in payment systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Technical & Domain Knowledge
Knowledge of card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and real-time payment systems.
Understanding of open banking, tokenization, and digital identity frameworks.
Exposure to banking-as-a-service (BaaS), payment orchestration, or merchant onboarding platforms is an advantage.
SQL or data querying skills for transaction analysis (nice to have).
