On-Site Project Supervisor – Solar Installations

About the Role
InstallPro is hiring an On-Site Project Supervisor to lead day-to-day solar installation execution across project sites in India. This is a hands-on field role you'll be the Project Manager's eyes and ears on the ground, keeping contractors aligned, quality high, and projects on track.
If you've spent time on actual solar sites (not just in offices), know how to get work done through local teams, and take pride in clean commissioning handovers, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Supervise daily installation activities — module mounting, structure erection, DC/AC cabling, inverter installation, ACDB/DCDB, earthing, lightning protection, and net-metering readiness
- Coordinate local contractors, I&C teams, electricians, helpers, and site labour
- Support testing and commissioning: string voltage, polarity, IR checks, inverter startup, and handover records
- Conduct toolbox talks, quality checks, daily progress reviews, and safety walkthroughs
- Prepare daily progress reports, photo updates, issue logs, material records, and completion checklists
- Escalate blockers technical, safety, manpower, material, or client-side — early and clearly
- Maintain a working network of I&C teams, electricians, fabricators, and contractors in your geography
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- 1.5–2 years of hands-on solar installation site experience (rooftop and/or ground-mounted)
- Solid working knowledge of solar structures, DC/AC wiring, inverters, earthing, protection devices, and commissioning
- Ability to read SLDs, installation drawings, layouts, and BOQs
- Existing contractor/I&C network in your region is a strong plus
- Comfortable with frequent travel and extended site stays during execution phases
- Safety-first mindset — especially around electrical work, lifting, and work at height

This is a travelling role. Candidates must be willing to stay at project sites during execution phases.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
