Job Purpose :-
To ensure the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of all electrical systems and weaving machinery to achieve maximum production efficiency with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of weaving machines.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in looms, motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, encoders, and control panels.
Maintain HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, compressors, and electrical distribution panels.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all weaving operations.
Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Install, commission, and modify electrical equipment and production machinery.
Maintain electrical drawings, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory.
Coordinate with production, mechanical, and utility teams to improve machine availability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company SOPs.
Supervise electricians and maintenance technicians, assigning daily work and monitoring performance.
Plan and execute annual shutdown maintenance activities.
Control electrical maintenance costs while maintaining high equipment reliability.
Support energy conservation initiatives and monitor plant power consumption.
Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices in the electrical maintenance area.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of weaving machinery electrical systems.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial automation.
Knowledge of HT/LT maintenance, transformers, DG sets, APFC panels, and power distribution.
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.
Good analytical, communication, and team management skills.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
3–10 years of experience in a textile weaving unit.
Experience with Water Jet Loom, Air-jet, Rapier, or Projectile looms will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
