Job Summary
Responsible for teaching logistics, supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, procurement, and related subjects. The faculty member will support student learning, curriculum development, research activities, and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in:
- Logistics Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Operations
- Transportation & Distribution
- Procurement and Purchasing
- International Trade & Logistics
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
- Develop and update curriculum in line with industry trends.
- Conduct research and publish academic papers (for higher education institutions).
- Organize seminars, workshops, industrial visits, and guest lectures.
- Mentor students for projects, internships, and placements.
- Maintain academic records and comply with institutional policies.
- Collaborate with industry partners to enhance practical learning.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PhD preferred for university-level positions.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CILT
- APICS
- CSCMP certifications (preferred).
Experience
- 2–10+ years of teaching and/or industry experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and logistics software is desirable.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts.
