Role Overview
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring immaculate cleanliness, aesthetic presentation, and comfort across guest rooms and public areas. The role plays a critical part in delivering a refined, intimate luxury experience aligned with The Postcard Hotels’ brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and assigned public areas as per established standards.
- Prepare rooms for arrivals, ensuring all amenities, linen, and guest preferences are accurately placed.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety at all times.
- Conduct routine checks for maintenance concerns and report issues promptly.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels in assigned areas.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism while servicing occupied rooms.
- Support deep cleaning schedules and special projects as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- 1–3 years of housekeeping experience in hotels/resorts (luxury experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
