Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sales Manager with strong experience in the cold chain logistics industry. The candidate will be responsible for business development, client relationship management, and generating sales opportunities for temperature-controlled transportation and logistics services. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, negotiation, and market development skills with hands-on knowledge of cold chain operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the cold chain and temperature-controlled logistics sector.
- Generate leads and convert potential clients into long-term business accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, transport vendors, and business partners.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable logistics and cold chain solutions.
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and presentations with clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular client meetings, follow-ups, and market visits.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth service execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development reports.
- Develop transporter/vendor network and generate market vehicles as per operational requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in cold chain logistics sales or transportation sales.
- Strong knowledge of refrigerated transport and cold chain logistics services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client handling skills.
- Good understanding of transportation operations and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in hardcore transport and cold chain sales.
- Good market knowledge and client network in logistics industry.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
