Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to handle ambulance services and general driving duties as assigned. The candidate must be safety-conscious, punctual, and capable of handling emergency situations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Ambulance Duties:
- Operate ambulance for emergency and non-emergency patient transport
- Ensure safe and timely transfer of patients
- Assist medical staff during patient loading and unloading
- Follow emergency driving protocols while ensuring road safety
- Keep the ambulance ready and available at all times
General Driving Duties:
- Provide driving support for hospital-related and administrative requirements
- Handle pick-up and drop of staff, visitors, or other assigned personnel
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all assignments
Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform routine checks of assigned vehicles including ambulance
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper functioning
- Ensure fuel availability and basic emergency readiness
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Keep all vehicle documents valid and updated
Qualifications
- Valid driving license (LMV) with a clean record
- Ambulance driving experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of driving experience
- Prior experience in ambulance or hospital driving preferred
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
