Job Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Horticulturist to manage and maintain gardens, lawns, plantations, and landscape areas across company premises. The candidate will be responsible for plantation planning, plant health, irrigation management, seasonal gardening activities, and overall beautification of the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise plantation, landscaping, and gardening activities.
- Maintain lawns, flower beds, ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Monitor plant health and recommend fertilizers, pesticides, and treatments as required.
- Ensure proper irrigation and water management systems are functioning effectively.
- Coordinate seasonal plantation and nursery development activities.
- Supervise gardeners and outsourced manpower related to horticulture work.
- Maintain cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of green areas.
- Prepare reports related to plant inventory, maintenance schedules, and landscaping activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental practices.
Qualification:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, or related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in horticulture, landscaping, nursery management, or garden maintenance.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of plants, fertilizers, irrigation systems, and pest control.
- Good understanding of landscaping and garden development.
- Ability to supervise teams and manage outdoor activities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in managing large industrial, institutional, or farm landscapes.
- Knowledge of seasonal plantation and nursery operations.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
