Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the execution of these strategies, ensuring that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied. This includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities and defect management, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve seamless quality assurance outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies within complex application environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing principles, and defect management processes.
- Ability to analyze and interpret key quality metrics to guide decision-making and process improvements.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and efficient testing efforts.
- Competence in leveraging tools and technologies that support automated and manual testing activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
