- Person must have minimum 15 yrs of experience in building construction (GOVERNMENT PROJECTS)
- Review project proposal and plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project as and when required
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Prepare documentation related to billing, communication with government department and other project related material
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Program and ensuring incorporated material on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
