Job Summary
The NPD Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and successful commercialization of new dairy processing machines and continuous improvement of existing products. The role involves end-to-end product development, including concept design, engineering calculations, material selection, prototype development, testing, production support, vendor coordination, and cost optimization. The engineer will work closely with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Sales, and Service teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new dairy processing machines and equipment based on customer and market requirements.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, BOM (Bill of Materials), and engineering documentation.
- Design machine components, assemblies, and fabrication drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and prototype development.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department for vendor development and material sourcing.
- Coordinate prototype manufacturing, assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Conduct prototype testing, performance evaluation, and design verification to ensure product reliability and compliance with specifications.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
