Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and administration of the building/property. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of the premises, handling vendors and staff, maintaining cleanliness and security standards, and addressing tenant/resident concerns efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding Operations & Maintenance
- Supervise day-to-day building operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lifts, DG sets, fire systems, and common areas.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and external vendors for repairs and servicing.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues and ensure safety standards.
Vendor & Staff Management
- Manage housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other support staff.
- Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain attendance and duty schedules of staff.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building policies.
- Monitor fire safety systems and emergency preparedness.
- Handle emergency situations and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure all statutory and maintenance records are updated.
Tenant / Resident Coordination
- Address resident or tenant complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain professional communication with occupants.
- Support smooth move-in and move-out processes.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain records of maintenance, bills, contracts, and inventory.
- Prepare basic operational reports and expense tracking.
- Monitor utility usage and control operational costs.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of building maintenance systems and operations.
- Ability to manage teams and vendors effectively.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, email handling).
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Experience in property management, facility management, or building operations preferred.
- Minimum [2–5] years of relevant experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing residential societies, commercial buildings, or mixed-use properties.
- Familiarity with facility management software is an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
