Role Overview
As an Admission Counsellor (Inside Sales) in the EdTech industry, you will play a key role in helping aspiring learners choose the right IT certification and professional training programs. You will engage with prospective students, understand their career goals, provide guidance on suitable IT courses, and assist them throughout the enrollment process.
The role requires excellent communication, counselling, and consultative sales skills to convert qualified leads into successful enrollments while delivering a positive learner experience.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective learners regarding IT certification, upskilling, and career-oriented training programs offered by the organization.
Understand students' educational background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable IT courses.
Explain course curriculum, career opportunities, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and enrollment process.
Interact with prospective learners through outbound calls, inbound calls, online chats, WhatsApp, email, and virtual counselling sessions.
Address learner queries and provide end-to-end admission support.
Convert leads into successful enrollments by building trust and demonstrating the value of the programs.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, counselling interactions, and enrollments in the CRM system.
Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective learners to maximize conversion rates.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for enrolled learners.
Collect learner feedback and prepare reports as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Prior experience in Inside Sales, Admission Counselling, or EdTech Sales is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Result-oriented mindset with a proven ability to achieve admission and enrollment targets.
