Job Description (JD) – Turn Mill Operator
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up Turn Mill/CNC Turn Mill machines as per production requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
Load raw materials and ensure proper machine alignment before operation.
Monitor machining operations to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic machine troubleshooting.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S practices in the work area.
Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for issue resolution.
Record production data and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Turn Mill/CNC machine operations.
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
Understanding of machining processes and quality standards.
Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance knowledge.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
1–2 years of experience as a Turn Mill Operator in the automobile or precision manufacturing industry.
ITI (Fitter/Turner/Machinist) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Responsible, quality-focused, and able to work independently in a production environment.
Salary: As per industry standards. Exceptional candidates may be offered a higher package based on skills and experience.
Pay: ₹25,680.00 - ₹30,840.00 per month
