Job Summary
The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about academic programs, and assisting applicants from inquiry to enrollment. The role involves student counseling, lead conversion, admissions coordination, and maintaining positive relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admission requirements, fees, and career opportunities.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, social media, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Conduct student interviews and assess eligibility for various programs.
- Assist applicants in completing application forms and submitting required documents.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM or admission systems.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments regarding admissions.
- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, webinars, and outreach activities.
- Achieve admission and enrollment targets assigned by the institution.
- Provide regular reports on admissions activities and conversion rates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, education, or sales (freshers may also be considered for junior roles).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and meet enrollment targets.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
