Job Title: GEM & Tender Executive

Nippon Data Systems Ltd. is a 30-year-old IT company with over 1,500 employees, offering industry-specific ERP, CRM, AI, and digital solutions. We are looking to strengthen our team in government and PSU sectors through active participation in e-procurement and tendering processes.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive professional to manage government procurement portals such as GeM (Government e-Marketplace), CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal), NICSI and other state/department portals. The role involves identifying relevant tenders, preparing and submitting bids, and managing the entire tendering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage GeM, CPPP, and other government e-procurement portals on a daily basis.
- Identify suitable tenders and opportunities relevant to our business offerings.
- Coordinate internally with sales, technical, finance, and legal teams for gathering required inputs and approvals.
- Prepare tender documentation including pre-qualification documents, technical bids, financial bids, compliance statements, and supporting certificates.
- Upload and submit bids online within deadlines.
- Track tender status, participate in clarifications, attend pre-bid meetings, and respond to queries.
- Maintain documentation for all submitted tenders and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Assist in vendor registrations, empanelments, and certifications required for bidding.
- Suggest strategic approaches to secure high-value contracts.
- Maintain MIS/reports on tender pipeline, submissions, wins/losses, and reasons.
- Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and government agencies regarding tender processes and updates.
- Market Research & Strategy
Requirements:
- Graduate in Computer Science (preference for BCA/BCA/Engineering background).
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in handling GeM, CPPP, and other state/PSU tender portals.
- Familiarity with tender terms, bid preparation, EMD, PBG, reverse auction, and contract award process.
- Should be able to study Software development and IT services RFPs and prepare technical and commercial proposal
- Strong coordination and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good typing speed.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
