We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Remote Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process.
Job Summary
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for contacting prospective students, providing program information, conducting admissions interviews, following up on inquiries, and assisting applicants through enrollment. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a sales-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact leads received through Facebook, website inquiries, referrals, and other marketing channels.
- Conduct admissions interviews via phone, video call, email, and WhatsApp.
- Explain program offerings, admission requirements, tuition fees, and funding options.
- Assess applicant suitability and recommend appropriate programs.
- Guide prospective students through the enrollment process.
Lead Management
- Respond promptly to inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and Google Sheets.
- Track lead status and follow-up activities.
- Schedule appointments and campus visits (virtual or in-person).
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment targets.
Administrative Duties
- Collect and review admission documents.
- Maintain student records and application files.
- Update master spreadsheets and admissions databases.
- Prepare enrollment reports as required.
Student Support
- Answer questions regarding programs, schedules, tuition, and career opportunities.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the admissions process.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up support.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous admissions, education counseling, sales, customer service, or recruitment experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting follow-ups.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a private career college.
- Knowledge of Canadian education systems.
- Experience with Facebook leads and digital marketing inquiries.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and CRM management.
