Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal.
- Search and identify relevant GeM bids, government tenders, and procurement opportunities.
- Handle the complete GeM bidding process, including bid participation and Reverse Auction (RA).
- Launch and list new products on the GeM Portal, including preparation and submission of required product details and documents.
- Manage and maintain the GeM product catalogue and ensure product information is accurate and up to date.
- Update/revise product prices on the GeM Portal as per company requirements and applicable GeM procedures.
- Coordinate for product additions, modifications, specifications, images, pricing, and other catalogue-related updates.
- Monitor GeM for new bids, amendments, corrigenda, clarifications, and changes in tender requirements.
- Study tender documents and understand eligibility criteria, technical specifications, commercial terms, and submission requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within stipulated deadlines.
- Prepare tender-related documentation; including declarations, undertakings, EMD, PBG, certificates, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Technical, Production, Dispatch, and Management teams for information and approvals required for tenders and GeM bids.
- Track bid status, Reverse Auctions, order confirmations, and successful tender outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, billing, dispatch, and payment follow-up after receiving GeM/tender orders.
- Maintain proper records of GeM products, bids, tenders, orders, pricing, and related correspondence.
- Ensure all GeM and tender activities are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
- Prepare regular MIS reports covering tenders participated in, bids submitted, products launched, price revisions, orders received, and pending activities.
- Keep updated with changes in GeM policies, procedures, bidding requirements, and government procurement guidelines.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with the GeM Portal is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of product listing/product launching on GeM.
- Experience in updating and revising product prices on GeM.
- Good understanding of GeM bidding and Reverse Auction processes.
- Experience in government e-tendering and online bid submission.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Good communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and GeM activities simultaneously.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,563.62 per month
