Job Description – Import & Export Manager

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Manager to oversee and manage the company's international trade operations for Rubberised PVC Paver Moulds, raw materials, machinery, and related products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in import-export documentation, customs regulations, international logistics, freight management, and compliance with Indian and global trade laws. Experience in manufacturing, plastics, PVC, rubber, engineering, or industrial products will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end import and export operations for raw materials, machinery, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
- Prepare and verify all import-export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Letter of Credit (LC)
- Shipping Bill
- Bill of Entry
- Insurance Documents
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, FEMA, RBI, and other applicable trade regulations.
- Monitor shipments from dispatch to final delivery while minimizing delays and logistics costs.
- Manage import/export licensing, IEC-related documentation, and statutory compliance.
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with logistics vendors.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, finance, and sales teams to ensure timely execution of international orders.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, MIS reports, and documentation for audits.
- Handle customs clearance and resolve shipment-related issues.
- Monitor international freight costs, duties, and taxes to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated on international trade policies, tariff changes, and export incentives.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in International Business or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- Certification in Import-Export Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Import & Export operations.
- Experience in Rubber, PVC, Plastic, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Products, or Mould Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Proven experience handling international shipments, customs clearance, and global vendor coordination.

Pay: ₹95,726.13 - ₹99,008.36 per month
