Job Summary
Sri Arogya Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the hospital's financial operations, ensure accurate accounting records, support billing and revenue management, maintain statutory compliance, and provide timely financial reports to management. The role requires experience in healthcare accounting, patient billing, vendor payments, and financial reconciliation.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Track hospital expenses and revenue streams.
Hospital Billing & Revenue Management
- Monitor IPD, OPD, pharmacy, laboratory, and diagnostic billing.
- Reconcile daily collections and billing reports.
- Coordinate with billing teams to ensure accurate revenue capture.
- Handle TPA, insurance, corporate, and cash billing reconciliations.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and receivables.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations.
- Assist in filing statutory returns and maintaining compliance records.
- Support internal and external audits.
Vendor & Payroll Management
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Maintain purchase and expense records.
- Assist in payroll processing, salary disbursement, and employee reimbursement accounting.
- Verify supporting documents before payment release.
Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide insights on cost control and revenue optimization.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
- Knowledge of hospital billing processes, insurance claims, and TPA settlements preferred.
- Experience with Tally ERP, Busy, Zoho Books, or hospital ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Compensation
- Salary: As per industry standards and candidate experience.
- Additional benefits as per Sri Arogya Hospital policies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
